Whisperings_ an Acrostic Poem
Post #236
April 2, 2019
“Whisperings”
April is National Poetry Month
Whisperings
Window sills maintain collections
Hold timid living treasures
In Celadon -green ceramic pots
Succulents whispering across the rims
Pretend to sprout prickly wings
Each Aloe Vera wants a gentle flight
Regardless of age or size
Infused with sunshine of changing seasons
Nourished sparingly with tepid water
Given rest during lengthy winter vacation
Succulents anticipate juicy arrival of Summer.
