One Word for 2020 – GIFTS

About my ART and Writing-

I have a BFA and MFA in Painting – and a MA in English. My degrees are across disciplines which gives me a solid background for  imagery in all of my creative works in art and writing.  I am an actively exhibiting artist for over forty years.  I am an author and my books are available at major retail book sellers – Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

FIBER ART

I specialize in TALISMANS and WALL WORKS – using  fabrics, beads, gemstones, found objects, threads.

I use an ACROBAT Closed  Circuit  Television  to assist me in my studio because I have very low vision.

PHOTOGRAPHY

I enjoy being outdoors and exploring NATURE with my camera in hand. I also envision STILL LIFE shots using mundane objects which I find in their environment in my own home, my gardens, and in the woods where I live in western Pennsylvania.

I am delighted  my photo became the COVER of my FIRST CHAPBOOK.

The photo shows our 2 dogs, Miss Dixie Tulip  (Left) and Miss Mitchell (right).

They are walking through the snow, headed towards the woods. This new chapbook contains 30 wintry-themed poems. Published Jan.  3. 2020.  (Available at all major book sellers now)
