TMI TUESDAY ?
I copied the 5 questions from the TMI TUESDAY BLOG.
I posted them here, and I’ve responded by adding my answers to each question.
- What do you think are the best and worst parts of human nature?
Best part is that we have the ability to go in a new direction if we decide to pay attention to what is not working in our life. We can change if we have courage and trust that we can do better if we make changes.
Worst part is that we don’t change direction or learn from our mistakes. When we don’t change our ways, we don’t progress. We do thed same-old, same-old, and wonder why we fail again and again.
2. What is something terrifying that you have come to accept as a fact of life?
Vivid , terrifying and meaningful dreams are an important part of my life. They are my normal – when sleeping day or night.
They are usually terrifying and life-threatening. I am always at the top of treacherous mountains, in icy places, where there is no way to come down or to a safe place. Treacherous.
I learn things through dreams – things I would never know otherwise.
A favorite quote by Thoreau sums up how I feel about dreams.
“Our truest life is when we are in our dreams – awake.”
~Henry David Thoreau
3 What piece of media (book, movie, TV show, etc.) changed the way you viewed the world?
BOOK
Beyond Ourselves, by Catherine Marshall. Read more about my life-changing discovery.
How? I learned about the Dreaming Prayer, and was transformed forever by the revelation of this wisdom.
This book took me to a new discovery that altered my life forever.
- You must pick one:
– Facebook or Twitter? Facebook – I don’t Twitter.
– Cake or Pie? Rhubarb Custard Pie
– Swimming or Sunbathing? Swimming in a private pool.
– Nice Car or Nice Home Interior? My home is my palace and my sanctuary – so I choose the nice interior inspired by my many springtime trips to Puerto Rico – happy colors.

Bonus:
If pressing a button meant you received 5 million dollars (usd) but it also killed 5 people somewhere in the world, would you press it?
I have a strong work ethic. I believe in working to earn our living.
I am not a gambler, and have never wanted to have anything I did not personally earn or been gifted by someone who loves me.
It would not be a consideration that I would covet money of any amount – for any reason.
That is not in my core values – I am a servant-leader who sets the example of good stewardship in my finances. so, the answer is “absolutely not!”
