One Word for 2022
I’ve adopted the word, “evergreen” for this year.
During 2022, I’ll search out the deeper meaning of my ONE WORD.
I’ll be sharing creative non-fiction stories, thoughtful personal essays, and spare poems. Thank you for visiting today. Please tell me what you think in the “comments” section.

For everything there is an appointed time, and an appropriate time for every activity on earth. (NET Bible)
On my Mind Today:
I am considering my daily activities and how I choose to spend my time.

Electronic CLUTTER Is not our friend.
This week, I’ve considered the daily e-mail.
I spent a sizable part of my morning looking through the e-mails that arrived overnight.
Some are so welcome, and I open them immediately. I often send a letter or response back to the person who just sent me a very welcome message. Those are highlights of the morning.
But then, there are the other e-mails that are filling up space and taking up time in my day. Advertisements and junk mail! Like the evergreen trees that shed and grow at all times, I need to begin this process with unwanted and intrusive e-mails.
I spent a few days shedding the unwanted daily e-mail. But then, I realized it is daily clutter.
It’s not hard to do, but you need to be alert and steadfast to accomplish this work.
Yes! It is work, but it will have significant benefits, so why not start?
I visited each e-mail message and searched out the UNSUBSCRIBE link.
Some are nearly impossible to find. Some make you go through hoops and in circles in your quest to unsubscribe.
But don’t get discouraged. Keep on going with this decluttering process.
I saw good results every morning as they all began to vanish.
We look daily for the new ones that pop up.
Be bold!
Eliminate that site as soon as you see it.
I think of it as playing a game.
I am the winner each time I get an unwanted link Unsubscribed. It’s actually fun.
