Ten Things of Thankful Blog Hop
One_ A little birthday celebration dinner and dessert for my husband’s 81st birthday on Saturday afternoon. He was in very good spirits and enjoyed it all. Thankful to our daughter, Salome’ for hosting dinner and making the cupcake treats for it.
Two_ My new post, The Evergreen Journal #6. It is a celebration of Euphoria and a little window into a day in the past that was filled with euphoria – a rewarding journey to a dream.
Three_ The packages I mailed out this week to four people I thought could use an unexpected surprise in their mailbox.
Four_ The 400th person who subscribed to my blog – I just mailed her a signed hardback copy of my latest book to celebrate her subscription – #400. I do almost no promotion, so that was a nice surprise for me.
Five_My all-black cat, Inca, comes to my office each morning. He sits by the window and waits for me to open the Venetian blind so he can view the woods outside. On warmer days, we open the window so he can smell and hear all the little critters and birds as much as he likes.
Six_My sister-in-law, Debby, who takes us to many doctor appointments – Bob and I do not drive . Bob and I have no way of getting there without such help.
Seven_ (CTV) Cornerstone Television Network – we have the TV set to this channel all day long. What a difference it makes in the atmosphere of a home that is filled with programming that is uplifting and Christ-centered.
Eight_Nurses and aids and caseworker who are caring for my husband and helping us through the hospice program. We are so thankful for their cheerful faces and the visits from these wonderful people.
Nine_I am thankful for difficult challenges because we must keep our focus on Jesus as we go through the hard times. We grow and we learn through each period of difficulty.
Ten_You! I apprciate YOUR visit to my TTOT reflections today.
Welcome to the Ten Things of Thankful Blog Hop!
Join bloggers from all over the world as we come together
every Friday to share those things we are thankful for during the week.
Ten is in the name, but no one is counting. YOU can link up no matter how many (or few) you can list.
Make sure to go read and comment on the posts, too. TTOT is big on making this a friendly community. Get to know each other through posts and comments.
I wish you all a gentle evergreen-sort of day.
