National Poetry Month –
Day 15

I post new poems in April
”
Ode to a Perfume Collector
Angel perfume arrived in star-shaped
bottles of pristine crystal
Cool Water feels like a Caribbean
Delightful day at the beach.
Evening in Paris bottles are Cobalt Blue
Fendi is out of stock, unfortunately.
Get on the Waiting list now!
How can a woman live without perfume?
Imari was my favorite Avon scent
Jasmine, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Bergamot
Knowing brings compliments instantly
Lancome fragrance, perfect for Mother’s Day
MCMXLIII, White Shoulders created
New perfume is always welcome on my shelf
Opium was last year’s Christmas gift.
Perfume can attract the opposite sex,
Quick! Spray the Pheromone.
Red is vivacious and bold, of course.
Salvador Ferragamo’s signature scent
takes me to exotic places.
Ungaro is always on my daughter’s list.
Violet and Honeysuckle are mellow.
What is your favorite Obsession?
X Limited is made for men, like Etienne Aigner.
You may pick your favorite flowers in a bottle
Zesty, Romantic, Exotic, Earthy or Sexy.

This poem is about one of my passions – PERFUME.
Why not write a poem about one of YOUR PASSIONS today, too?
