Lynda has created a beautiful collection of 130 little poems with themes from nature.

She learned at an early age about the wonders of nature growing up in rural western Pennsylvania.

“My father was a gardener, and many of my writings reflect childhood experiences that have stayed with me. Poems in this collection were gleaned from my memories over the decades and from the gardens I tend now. My hope is that you also will find some small pleasures in my little poems.”

~Lynda McKinney Lambert

30 Wintry-Themed Poems –

In this new collection of thirty wintry-themed poems, Lynda shares her insight into the beautiful serenity and colors of nature in a way that others seldom see.  Her ability to articulate the unseen qualities of an entire season is remarkable.

The vitality of the seasons is still felt, seen, and heard. Lambert notices the colors and sounds that surround us.

Out of Print – but Amazon usually has copies by private book sellers.

Lynda has a few that she will sign and send to you if you request that.  contact:  riverwoman@zoominternet.net

This is Lynda’s first published collection. Here, she develops her subject matter that is the core of her writings for the years that follow.

Her predominant themes are:

Nature – Landscape

Place – Journey

Physical & Spiritual Mystery

While her poems begin with keen descriptions of a place, she then moves the reader into a sense of mystery through her powerful reflections and insistent music. Always there is the notion of both a physical and spiritual journey, a pilgrimage.
