First, let me ask a question.
Do you cringe every time you see a period on the outside of a quotation mark? I do!
This error is a glaring grammatical mistake that makes the reader feel like screaming, “STOP!” Nevertheless, this standard error is a red flag that indicates a bumpy road ahead.

Second, why is it so difficult to understand the difference between farther and further? Talking heads on television often get it wrong.
Third, the dangling preposition at the final word in a sentence is a choice the author has to make. To dangle, or not to dangle?
