July 26 – August 1, 2020
We say “good-bye” to the final day of July and cross over the swinging bridge into August.
Bob and I live beside the Connoquenessing Creek, in Western Pennsylvania.
I’m a retired college professor of fine arts and humanities. Retirement opened the door for me to write books – and make my mixed-media wall pieces and talismans full-time. I have 4 published books on Amazon at this time. And, I am at work on a new chapbook and a full-length collection of poems and stories.
Bob is a retired welder and fitter. He used to make steel sculptures. Bob is currently in remission for the past 6 years after Acute Myeloid Leukemia and a Stem Cell Transplant in October 2016. We have been married for 59 years. We have a happy home which is a sanctuary to feral cats as needed, and we love to watch the birds and walk in the woods.
A Talisman – from the “Roberta Series: The Round Talisman”
I make Talismans and Wall pieces.
Introducing: Miss Mitchell, (White with brindle spots) and Miss Dixie Tulip Lovely Waggy-tail (Brown) This is a typical day of relaxing at home. I know! They ARE Cute!
Bob stopped beside the woods so I could take his picture.
