Review on Amazon:
I read this book very slowly – one short piece at a time. It was a Bible Study as I read and meditated on that particular writing for the day. I also used my Bible in tandem with the writing for the day. I enjoyed reading passages from the Old and New testament, and how Christina brought those passages into modern-day circumstances and moments of trusting God in faith through them all.
The surprise, or twist, in the book begins on page 102 when suddenly, Christina turns the writing over to some of her friends. One by one, each individual shares their own faith story. This seemed so much like the stories told by the people who were traveling on a pilgrimage that we meet when reading “The Canterbury Tales,” but in that book, the narrator is Chaucer, himself. In this book by Christina, each pilgrim on the journey is speaking their own story. I ask, Are they all moving along towards one final destination? You my read it to see for yourself. Well worth reading more than one time, In my opinion.
