A Note from the Flowers
We all agree
we need a little space in your yard
some sunshine and shade
please, keep it SIMPLE
plant one or two types of flowers
keep it SIMPLE
think outside the flower pot
add a piece of sculpture,
place us in an old bird bath
a rusty old wheelbarrow would be fun
we love to live beside a reflecting ball
place some pottery bowls in the soil
to hold water for our small friends
who drink it clean and fresh
keep us safe from nasty weeds
give us water early in the day
and chase away harmful bugs and worms
our needs are simple.
We all say, “Let the blooming begin.”

Tell me about your favorite flower?
I’d like to hear all about YOUR garden.
Is it a container garden?
Is it a collection of potted plants placed in various places in your home or outside?
Is your garden a typical flower garden somewhere outside?
The smallest spaces can become a lovely little garden!
~Lynda McKinney Lambert
I have flower gardens in all sorts of places in my yard.
Mossy rocks define the space and inside the garden are Hosta Plants and Garden Crop Rock plants.
I put some ceramic sculptures into this triangle and a wonderful birdbath base holds a reflecting ball I brought home from Austria one summer.
Note from Lynda:
Last year, I started writing a series of Garden Songs and posting them on my blog, Walking by Inner Vision.
Today, I took a look to see which of the Garden Song poems was the most visited one of the year.
You may visit the Garden Song, which is #1 from last year Read it now.
