I listen to abundant voices
I listen to abundant voices
saunter on frost-tipped grass
slightly sinking into the soggy ground
footsteps rustle through crisp fallen leaves
sights and sounds of ever-changing seasons
consider the blue topaz sky
captivated by waves of clouds
endlessly moving.
Somewhere behind me
red-tailed hawk signals
wintry weather is on the horizon.
A wordless melody wells up
as I begin to sing along.

This is a free-form poem. I wrote this poem over the past two days. I was inspired by the day as I stood looking up at the sky. I was aware of the sights and sounds in the landscape and sky.
