Today’s poem ~ embraceable succulents

This TANKA poem is inspired by a photo by ©Angel Yaromey.  She photographed my group of stonecrop plants blooming this week.  Pink flowers are now deep red amid the lovely jade-green leaves.  This photo is poem-worthy, isn’t it?

arid garden areas

pink florets turned red

rosettes on tall spiked towers
