From Lynda’s Journal – A Christmas Poem
Walking by Inner Vision presents:
A Poem From Lynda’s Journal
by Lynda McKinney Lambert
Poem:
He is Brilliant (Sestina)
One star in the night sky is brilliant
We want to gaze at it forever
bright rays flowing like a river.
Our journey was planned in Heaven.
This child was conceived in love.
God’s Word arrived, swaddled in Divine Glory
Angelic hosts announced His glory
They sang brilliant
melodies of everlasting love.
A promise, sealed forever
in the courts of Heaven,
reveals the tributaries of the river.
We are refreshed by the river
that streams from the Throne of Glory.
adorned with preparation for Heaven
bejeweled and brilliant
we walk with God, forever
in His everlasting love.
The shining star pointed to Love
We are healed in the river
forgiveness is forever
Jesus is our gift of Glory,
our brilliant.
narrow path to Heaven
Joy on earth was sent from Heaven.
He called us to walk in love
only One is brilliant.
Sing psalms of praise at the river
where His Glory
reigns forever.
Limitations are gone, forever
we sing and dance in Heaven
Celebrate our freedom in His glory
Know His limitless love
Find rest beside the refreshing river
God’s plan for us is brilliant
Forever, I will sing of His love in Heaven
where the healing rivers of glory flow. He is Brilliant

I’d love to know what you think about this poem.
What was I thinking about when I began to write this poem:
One Unique Star.
The STAR that the Wise Men were following, in search of the birth of Jesus.
Merry Christmas – Happy New Year
