brown tiger cat waits
hides among twilight shadows

Backstory:
I wrote this poem from a memory of the summer of 2023. I discovered a stray cat visiting my home and often hiding beneath my wraparound porch.
It took months to get near him, but now, he is such a lover boy! He is near me all day long and sleeps with me at night. I call him Mr. Little Bunny. He is an attention seeking cat – very nosey and has to make sure anyone who visits sees him – quickly. He performs for them.

Blessings are Always
in my NEWS!
“Blessings” arrive in my mail box, via telephone, or through my computer.
Some are financial blessings that I did not know were coming to me.
I receive awards and sales, for my books, writings and artworks.
Some days I am invited out to lunch, or simply to go for a walk in the park with a friend.
Blessings come to us all the time if we are open to them.
