Friday Fanfare & Ballyhoo
Celebrate the Season
Welcome to June. Already?
Do you ever think about how FAST the months go by?
My new series, FANFARE & BALLYHOO, will focus on people, places, and events that are joyful and fun. The articles I post here will be a CELEBRATION.
In this new series of articles, I’ll be celebrating the activities, awards, and special events that are taking place in my literary or art life and in the life of my friends.
Today, I am celebrating the kinds of days we have in JUNE.
Long ago, my mother and I took daily walks in the early morning.
Our morning ritual involved
long walks & mother-daughter talks.
You can LISTEN to a poem I wrote after one of our morning walks in the Summer months. This poem, “After an All-night Rain,” will be published on June 6 by NatureWriting Magazine. Here, I give you a recording of the poem today.
Come and walk with us today. Close your eyes, and listen.
I will SHARE:
Stories & Poems
Articles & Writers
Art works & Artists
Music & Voice Recordings
This is a series of Creative CELEBRATIONS.
